Weather Worker’s Cry

Using your choice of physical tools, recite or sing the following (I wrote it to the tune of “Days in the Sun” from Beauty and the Beast):
Weather workers cry
When summer’s too hot
Fields and rivers dry
Where hurricanes rage
What’s flooded breaks and dies
Please redistribute
Thin out the clouds overhead
Cause of devastation and dread
May the smoke be cleared from the sky
Bring rain to see all the fires die
Mother Earth is in pain
Let us help summon balance again
Redistribute the warmth
And the healing waters
Oh, Elements ‘round me
Hear my humble plea
I am grateful for you
But there are lives to be saved
And damage too
Undo whatever damage we can
Repent and represent our fellow man
Wounded Earth, you’re aching
Your hand in ours we’re taking
(So mote it be) water flowing
(So shall it be) balance with sun glowing
Weather workers cry
May this chaos die
Earth, Air, Fire, and Water
Harmonize with son and daughter

For those of you looking to help out the PNW and Irma victims and like to include song in your practice, here’s a thoughtful ritual ballad that’s perfectly fitting ☁️💕☁️

We’ve got lots of cloud cover today and I’m praying for rain so whatever you guys have been doing has been helpful.
