There was this ghost show called Shephaerds Town or something, that I figured would be like any other ghost show- overly dramatic and endlessly hilarious, with inaccurate ideas of witchcraft on the side. But boy was I wrong. They actually knew shit. They acknowledged that voodoo wasn’t evil. That a pentagram isn’t evil. There was a lot less “I suddenly feel this ~immense dark energy~ because we still haven’t gotten any evidence and the show needs to be interesting.” And a lot more “No I’m not really getting any readings or anything right now.” It was honestly refreshing.

- and damn it was basically a supernatural episode but in real life
- and her voice was literlally so shaken the whole time
- and historical backings up of a previous demon infestatin
- and then picking the person who was the most vulnerable and sensitive to possess
- and this whole things about a demon waling up spirits to see who noticed them
- but that was also the reason why they investigated those towns
- i dont think an average person could fake that
- i feel like there were a bit too many coincidences with all the caves being in every town they investigated
- i mean it could have been rigged but some of the reactions that the folks in the town had were so genuine
- not to mention they had a historian working around the clock to verify whatever the psychic medium hapoened to discover
- ok im done waxing poetic about this lol
- personal
- so even if it was all entirely faked
- there was the girl who was stalked and her store broken into
- there was the mother that was suddenly emotional while they dealt with a mother daughter haunting
- they knew their stuff and i was entertained 10/10
