Roe v. Wade — the landmark Supreme Court case establishing access to abortion as a constitutional right — has been settled law for over 40 years, yet remains under constant attack. With President Donald Trump in office, we face potentially the greatest threat to reproductive rights in more than a generation. The Center for Reproductive Rights updated our 2007 report, What If Roe Fell?, in order to answer the question on everyone’s mind on the 45th anniversary of Roe: what will happen if Roe were toppled in your state, the day after?
It contains information about hormonal and barrier birth-control methods, DIY emergency contraception (like Plan-B/morning after pill), and DIY medication abortions, including medication protocols, what to expect medically, and when to seek medical attention if your abortion doesn’t go as planned.
Don’t wait. Copy and paste the website into a word document, format, and print it out and hide it somewhere. If you’re friends with anyone with a uterus, you need a copy. If you don’t have a uterus, you can still help by having this knowledge, or helping to procure medications for your friend in need.
