š®Witchy Ways To Celebrate Septemberš®
- This is a good time for protection spells, bringing security and balance in all things; returning to the Earth.
- Decorate your home and altar with seed heads, berries, and fallen autumn leaves. Burn cinnamon and sage incenses and use orange and red flowers in your decoration. A set of scales or weights can also be used to signify the time of balance.
- Work with trees in September
(all the time).Collection acorns and make simple garlands to hang in the trees as offerings.- Cook with autumn berries or fruits that I listed previously! Start to make simple soups to celebrate autumn bounty and the change in season. Iāll personally be posting more recipes soon!
- Leave offerings for the spirits of the hedgegrow or your harvest gods to thank them for their bounty.
Tumblr Boycott to Protest Continued Lack of Movement to Ban White Nationalists
Tumblr @staff have been silent about the use of this site by white nationalist bloggers, while numerous other sites (see this post) have made actions to ban nazis/white nationalists/āalt-rightā/fascists. Tumblr needs to know their lack of action is unacceptable. I love my tumblr community and want to stay, but if this continues, I will have to considering leaving.
I suggest we push back, and unite to boycott on a certain date. Iām arbitrarily suggesting September 1st – itās nine days from this post, and that gives it enough time to hopefully get spread as far as possible. Boycotts only work if lots of people do it. Please consider joining me and logging off tumblr on September 1st, to let them know weāre serious about their apathy towards white nationalism.
Harvey Recovery
Hey folks, as some of you may know I live in a small, impoverished coastal town off of Galveston Bay. Our poverty rate is 71% below the national average, to give you an idea of how bad it is. A lot of the homes here are mobile homes (rvās, trailers) and most are old wooden houses built in the 1950ās. The tiny neighborhood i live in unfortunately received a nasty amount of rain over the week; rising floodwaters anywhere from 6 inches to 3.5 feet. My house luckily received around 6 inches rather than the latter, but it being a one story means that everything inside has to be gutted. Including everything we own. We are hoping for some FEMA assistance but will most likely need more help. My mom works for a nonprofit that pays the minimum of whatās considered a livable wage, and she is the only one working in a 3 human 4 animal household, so we arenāt sure how we are going to be able to manage this.
My little brother set up a GoFundMe aimed to help us get back on our feet. All donations will go towards feeding us, transportation, and other necessities that are vital to keeping us safe. Depending on the damage we received, we may need the donations to relocate to a different state.
If youāre able and willing to help us you can find the page at gf.me/u/cimwav
If money isnāt something you can afford to lose, please consider sharing this so others can see it. Thank you all so much.
Hey everyone! So cute little witch tip for you today! If you have those really cool glass candle jar lids from Yankee Candle, pop the plastic ring off, do some macrame (Pinterest is a huge help here" and make a little wall hanger for your crystals!!!
I totally got this idea from seeing plant wall hangers, and Iām sure you could use that for those of you who grow your herbs, but for me, I chose to use my crystals lol! But if you do this, please make sure your macrame is better than mine, because Iād never done it before this and it kind of sucks lmao šHappy Witching!!!
I love this!
You could also use this to burn cone incense!

Recovering past lives:
Close your eyes.
You are in a long hallway. There are thousands of doors to your left and right. Between each door is a marble pillar, elegant and strong. The walls are a deeper shade of your favorite colour. Torches dimly light your path. A long thin carpet lines the floor, straight. Each door is a different design and shape. Open the door to your left. It will take you to a memory. Where are you? WHO are you? Is anyone with you? There is nothing you can do here, this is a memory and it will play out the same each time. Donāt try to force it, let it play out. You can leave by turning around. The same door you entered from will be behind you. No matter where you go, the door out will always be behind you. You will enter back into the hall way. Good luck.
*note: if you encounter a mirror that does not reflect your appearance, step through it
*note-note: If you encounter anyone else walking into and out of doors that you didnāt willing invite in, close and lock all the doors. There should be a key to the doors in your pocket. Proceed to the very last door, it is not marked by any pillars. This door leads nowhere. You control everything in this hallway, the hall is yours. Open the last door and let out the wolves.
*note-note-note: The doors farther down the hall are older. The last door (if you ever reach it) is your first life.
