reblogging for anyone who gets anxiety for such things x
Saw another horrible âreblog or youâll have bad luckâ post, and thought Iâd re-queue this for anyone how needs it. đ
I just had one of those sort of jumbled late night thoughts, soooo let me try and make this make sense.
Okay so, when it comes to astrology I am usually very frustrated because I donât relate to my sun sign. For example, Iâm an Aries, and one of the main things I hear about Aries are that they are athletic and incredibly impulsive. I donât relate to that at all. Especially my hatred of sports; that will never change. But I realized that I am occasionally impulsive, and I usually push that down in order to think clearly because I canât live life going with the first thought in my head. Now, before I can connect this to some actual meaning, I must also say this.
I recently read something that put astrology into a different perspective for me. I read that astrology is intended to help us grow by seeing where/why our flaws exist, and this finally gave me a concrete goal when it comes to learning about astrology.
This is how the latter and former idea connect: You may not relate to most aspects of your sign because you have overcome them. No, being athletic is not something I can overcome, and that will forever be something about my sign that I canât relate to. But impulsiveness? Thatâs definitely an Ariesâ trait. And itâs definitely a trait I exhibited, far before I got into astrology. I just overcame it. And I think this might be the case for many of us. So when you see things about your sign that make you think âI am the exact opposite of that!â Or âI would never do that!â Consider if that was something you might have done in the past and whether the reason you donât relate to it is because youâve grown past it.
Of course, this may not be the way for everyone. Hell, maybe no one except me. But it certainly gave me a new appreciation for my sign and a better connection to it.
Tl;dr: If you donât relate to a sign in your natal chart because of certain aspects of it, think about whether or not you acted in those aspects in the past, and have simply grown past them in the present. You may not relate to your signs because you have matured past their basic sign meanings.
So much of my life now is visualization and small manifestation spells. When I sweat at the gym Iâm releasing anxieties. When I take a shower I wash away my insecurities. A cup of coffee to ground, or burning a candle to add a little light to my life. Magic is everywhere and Iâm truly grateful for that.đđ
During my time on witch tumblr Iâve learned that the worst thing you can a whole lotta yâall is to likeâŚthink.Â
Aside from mentioning the word âCelticâ in a post, nothing gets yâall fired up quicker than being like âHmm, have you taken time to consider your actions? Consider the consequences of your actions?â
(except maybe asking yâall to try doing your own research on a subject, which I honestly think is just a variant of the âHow dare you ask me to thinkâ mindset BUT THATâS ANOTHER POST IâM SICK OF MAKINGâŚ)
AnywayÂ
âHey do you think doing a nightmare curse on this person thatâs already clearly unraveling and suicidal is a good idea just because they unfollowed your blogâ is not curseshaming???
âWhat if your actions have consequences?â is a valid question!!! Iâm not sorry bout it!!
đbefore you start, spray your yoga mat with essential oils (orange, lavender, grapefruit and mint are great)
âď¸put your favorite crystals around your mat, especially any crystals that are good for relaxation or balance
đlisten to soothing nature sounds (like ocean waves, forest, campfire, thunder, etc.) to help you focus and ground
âď¸make yoga spells by combining certain positions with intent (sun salutations and tree pose for confidence and happiness, cobra and warrior for warding and banishment, etc.)
đdo some tea, infused water, or smoothie magic before you start. This works great in combination with the yoga spells since you can match intent (and strengthen the spell)
âď¸you could also make whatever you drink before yoga correspond with energy (cinnamon, ginger, strawberry, French lavender, apple, rosemary, and citrus fruits are great energy boosters)
đdo some yoga with your plant babies! Place your plant near your mat, as you breathe and stretch your plant will absorb the energy. It also will help you ground and meditate. (Just make sure you donât accidently knock them over)
âď¸light some incense or a candle (it can correspond with your yoga spell, cleanse the air, or just relax you)
đdo some divination! (E.g. a tarot reading in childâs pose, pendulum in lotus position, etc.)
