Now you’ve got a cord full of magic. If the spell was one of binding, or protection, or some other spell where you want the magic to stick around, keep the cord somewhere safe, or on your person. If you want to release the magic, such as for a wish spell, or a blessing, or luck spell, untie the knots in reverse orderwhile focusing on the goal to release the magic. To end the spell without releasing the power, cut the knots, or tie the ends together and bury the cord.
For the witches (or anyone else) who are into herbs and smelling good.

LETS GET STARTED
1. Floral facial steam
YOU WILL NEED (The ingredients below are per 6 treatments so multiply it for as many treatments as you’d like):
-3 100ml jars
-2/3 cup of lavender buds, dried
-1/3 cup of rose petals, dried
-2/3 cup chamomile flowers, dried
METHOD:
Mix up the herbs ad divide them into each jar (roughly half a cup each)
HOW TO USE:
• Remove make up or dirt by using a gentle cleanser • Place herbs in a heatproof bowl (use 4 tablespoons herbs per treatment – each jar is enough for 2 treatments) • Pour one pint of boiling water into a heat proof bowl (USE MOON WATER FOR EXTRA BENEFITS) • Place bowl on a sturdy surface (like a table) and lower face over the bowl (it’s usually best to sit in a chair that is pulled up close to a table) • Place a towel over your head to create a tent over the bowl (the towel helps the steam stay close to the face and not evaporate into the air so quickly) • Stay here for about 15 to 20 minutes- while you are here start by centring yourself, and then think about your intent and what you wish for the herb to bring to you, imagine the steam cleansing away any negativity.
BOOOM YOU ARE NOW CLEANSED AF AND SMELLING CUTEEEE.
2. Rose & chamomile bath bags
YOU WILL NEED (The ingredients below are per 3 treatments so multiply it for as many treatments as you’d like):
-3 Muslin bags
-¾ cup dried rose petals
-¾ cup dried chamomile flowers
-1 ½ cup epsom salts
METHOD: Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Place 1 cup of mixture in each muslin bag. Tie the top of each bag to close tightly.
HOW TO USE:
To use bath tea bag, tie bag to faucet so the water runs through it as the bath fills. Once the bath is full of warm water, remove the bag from the faucet and let it float in the bath. Soak for at least 15 minutes – while doing so, remember to relax, centre yourself, remember your intent and what you wish to get out of this treatment and imagine the salts and hot water clensing away any negative energy.
BOOOOM NOW U R CLENSED AF AND SMELLIN FRESH
3. Clay and Lavender face mask
YOU WILL NEED (once again makes 3 , adjust to your liking):
-3 100 ml jars
-½ cup lavender flower powder
-1 1/8 cup white cosmetic clay
METHOD:
Mix up and divide into jars, roughly half a cup per jar.
HOW TO USE:
At time of use, mix 1 tablespoon of lavender-clay mix with 2-3 teaspoons of water, cooled chamomile tea, or hydrosol, until a paste forms. Spread over the face, avoiding the eyes. Leave for 15 minutes. This mask draws out toxins and negative energy so make sure to visualise the clay mask absorbing the negative energy for maximum effect, meanwhile, pour your intent into this procedure and absorb the lavender and mother earth’s clay into your system. Wash off with warm water and a wash cloth.
BOOOM yo face is untoxic AF super clensed, and smelling damn fineeee.
4. Peppermint foot scrub

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT! YOU SMELL FRESH FROM HEAD TO TOE, CLENSED THOROUGHLY, EVERY PART OF YOUR BODY, LOVED!
This spell is for leaving things behind in the previous year or to leave something in the past.
SUPPLIES:
✯ A piece of paper. ⭐︎ A pen. ✯ A black or white candle (optional)
STEPS:
💫 First, write down everything that bothered you this past year. Whether it’s a nasty situation you’d like to be put to rest, a person, a bad relationship, a negative entity, pretty much anything you wish to leave behind and not look back to.
💫 Fold the piece of paper up, while you’re folding make sure you fold away from you since you are ridding of something. After you fold it up enough, put it under or in front of the candle when you light it.
💫 Hold the candle and pour your intentions into it. Light it, and speak to it if you feel you need to – tell it how you want to leave whatever it is that’s bothering you either in the previous year or in the past in general. Declare that it will no longer have any effect in your life, and you are now free from it.
💫 Once the candle burns down, take the paper and the next time you go somewhere to a public place away from home, throw it away there or bury it somewhere as far away as possible from your house.
If you choose not to use the candle, you can pour your intentions into the paper that you folded and just bury it somewhere away from your house like you would if you used the candle.

Something that IS about magic: I’ve experimented for a few years now with what happens when I ask spirits that I work with where something is that I’m looking for. The results have been surprising and sometimes amusing. There are four different things that happen, depending on the situation.
Sometimes I am not able to find the thing after asking.
Either I don’t understand the instructions to find the thing, or I don’t get a clear answer, or the answer is incorrect. This happens 10-20% of the time, which isn’t a bad failure percentage at all considering how difficult spirit interpretation can be in some situations. An incorrect answer is rare and could easily be a case of “I didn’t actually understand the answer.” But I also believe many spirits can make mistakes too, or misunderstand our answers. Sometimes it’s a temporal mixup–I get told where the thing was or will be, not where it is now. When I get an incorrect answer or don’t get an answer, I explore why that happened so I can learn from it and improve my interpretation.
Sometimes I see it immediately after asking where it is.
When spirits help me find things, half the time it happens like this. The object/person/place will be the next thing I look up at after asking. Often that glance will not be in the direction I meant to look. It’s like someone turning your head in a specific direction to guide your vision, or replying to you by silently pointing where something is and then you look in that direction. In the case of pointing, since I don’t usually see spirits without heavy trancing, I wouldn’t usually see the pointing, but my subconscious can pick up on it and make me glance in the right direction.
Sometimes they tell me where it is and that’s where it is!
Almost every time this happens, the reply is “just around the corner” and sure enough that’s where the thing is. We found the airport info screens and Starbucks this way just this morning. I often expect it to be wrong because it seems unlikely that the thing I’d be looking for would be in the place they tell me… but if it was in a place I expected it to be in, I wouldn’t need the tip! I’ve learned over time to be more trusting and not disbelieve so quickly, but it’s amazing how hard my brain will try to dismiss the advice before taking it. Skeptic’s habits I guess. My main concern is making sure my initial disbelief doesn’t come across as an insult.
Sometimes there’s no rational reason for the thing to be where they say it is but it’s there anyway and that’s why spirits are shenanigans.
Many spirits can SUMMON objects as well as find them: many times something that would otherwise be lost will turn up where it has no possible business being. This happens probably 10% of the time, but it really just depends on what it is I’m looking for.
That’s the big takeaways! Experiment yourself and see what happens! Some spirits will have different abilities, and I find communication of this sort gets better with practice. But with the glance up or summon methods, you often don’t have to interpret spirit speech at all to get results.
Fun note: if you’re curious, when the spirits I work with find something for me, they are often pretty smug about it or just have a “yeah it turns out I’m pretty cool, aren’t I?” attitude about the whole thing. We have a long-term working relationship so they automatically get compensation on a regular basis for being on Felix Duty, so it’s not always an offering in return for each thing found if we’re already square. I make sure to give them recognition and thanks because that’s what keeps our relationships so chill and it’s part of why they perform the services they do for me.
Also, moments of attention are themselves offerings of your time and sentiment, and have value of their own.
