For those unaware because staff isn’t saying it

Tumblr was deemed too full of inappropriate content to be allowed to be downloaded from the app store.

It has this “inappropriate” problem because of rampant porn ad bot accounts. The old solutions were bots to detect image sets with nsfw content, the automatically enabled safe mode, tag filtering for mobile, and wide takedowns of nsfw bots based on words used (that’s why their messages are full of numbers and symbols, to evade this)

Tumblr released their own bot supposedly capable of wiping the ad bots, but it’s taking down many popular blogs, possibly due to sheer amounts of posting or sheer amounts of ad bots in their notes. This bot was likely rushed to be put out.

You are more likely to be accidentally flagged if you post external links, as well. If your acct is taken down you CAN get it back, but it’s a pain. E-mail tumblr support for help with this. It takes down side blogs with the main ones.

I’ll be halting posts for about a week or until this problem is fixed.

The Hanging Tree by Peter Hollens except you swear that you can hear a ghostly chorus singing it to the accompaniment of wind whistling through the branches of the old tree that sits atop the infamous Hangman’s Hill. You stop for a moment, entranced, but then quicken your step because local legend has it that the ghosts of those who met their end in that tree still haunt the hill, and they will kill anyone who linger there past midnight – particularly, on an October night like tonight. And the village clocktower up ahead is ticking the seconds down.

Herb Spirals

The garden spiral is like a snail shell, with stone spiraling upward to create multiple micro-climates and a cornucopia of flavors on a small footprint. Spirals can come in any size to fit any space, from an urban courtyard to an entire yard. You don’t even need a patch of ground, as they can be built on top of patios, pavement, and rooftops. You can spiral over an old stump or on top of poor soil. By building up vertically, you create more growing space, make watering easy, and lessen the need to bend over while harvesting. To boot, spirals add instant architecture and year-round beauty to your landscape: the perfect garden focal point.

One of the beauties of an herb spiral is that you are creating multiple microclimates in a small space. The combination of stones, shape, and vertical structure offers a variety of planting niches for a diversity of plants. The stones also serve as a thermal mass, minimizing temperature swings and extending the growing seasons. Whatever you grow in your spiral, it will pump out a great harvest for the small space it occupies. I’ve grown monstrous cucumbers in my large garden spiral, with one plant producing over 30 prize-size fruits. The spiral is a food-producing superstar!

Stacked stones create perennial habitat for beneficial critters, such as lizards and spiders that help balance pest populations in the garden. The stone network is a year-round safe haven for beneficial insects and other crawlies that work constantly to keep your garden in balance—and you in the hammock. A little design for them up-front pays big, tasty dividends later.

Goyim Witches, please reblog

Dear Goyim Witches,

Stop. Using. Hebrew. In. Your. Spells/Other Witchcraft.

Hebrew is the religious and cultural language of the Jewish people.

Stop. Using. The. Star. Of. David. In. Your. Spells/Witchcraft.

The Star of David is a cultural and in modern times, religious symbol of the Jewish people.

Stop. Attempting. To. Practice. Kabbalah.

You HAVE to be Jewish to practice Kabbalah. Kabbalah is 100% based off of Judaism/Jewish myscitism.

Stop. Dressing. As. A. Stereotypical. Witch.

It’s not yours to reclaim. That stereotype of big curly, puffy hair, big noses, and pointed hat was created by antisemitic Medieval stereotypes of JEWS, not witches. They though that Judaism and Jews were sorcery and witchcraft which is why you have the Jew-codes witch look. We have suffered greatly for that stereotype because it comes FROM the belief of Judaism being a form of witchcraft (which is specifically why I’m asking you guys to stop using Hebrew, Kabbalah, and the Star of David in your magic if you aren’t Jewish)

Stop. “Praying”. To. Jewish. Angels/Spiritual Jewish. entities.

These entities are incredibly sacred, and again Judaism does not condone witchcraft, and has had a truamatic history of being compared or seen as witchcraft.

I don’t know how me, and other Jews can make it easier for you to understand. The Jewish people have a traumatic history of being seen as witchcraft to the point all witches in old fairy tales were Jew-coded. I’ve made so many posts about this.

Jewish people are NOT okay with goyim witches doing any of this shit, especially since many of your antisemitic. You are being an utter culture vulture and are enabling and encouraging our oppression.

Idc whether you think what you are doing is “out of respect” or that you think you are doing it with the “upmost care and delicacy” WE DONT CARE. We want you to stop, no bargaining, no budging. Just, stop.

Judaism is a CULTURE, a culture that has been oppressed for being seen as witchcraft. Judaism is a people that have been oppressed for thousands of years due to our language, our symbols, our spiritual entities. You do not get to profit, spiritually, fianically, emotionally, etc. off our oppression.

I tagged this with many tags used by witches in hopes you guys see this and understand how harmful your actions are to one of the oldest oppressed groups out there.

And like I said, goyim witches please reblog.

tips for walking in an abandoned graveyard

  • if it’s dark, don’t shine your flashlight into the trees.
  • if a child approaches and asks you a question, don’t tell the truth.
  • you may find some harrowing artifacts (i found a ribbon on a tree and some bible pages) pick these up and keep them. they belong to you.
  • if you walk down a long, straight pathway, you will feel someone behind you. don’t look
  • you may see people in your peripheral vision; these are the spirits. they won’t hurt you.
  • if you wish to communicate with the spirits, do not do it alone. cast a protection circle. only ask polite questions.
  • you will feel bursts of dread and terror. ignore them.
  • don’t read too much into what the graves say. some things are best left unsolved.
  • research the history of the graveyard beforehand. you need to know what you might encounter.
  • some beings may not want you to leave. should you come into contact with one of these beings, leave immediately.
  • don’t read the hidden graves.
  • if you find a headless angel statue, don’t look for her head.
  • if you find a tipped over angel statue, leave her be. she’s only resting.
  • don’t listen to music. this will distract you from them.
  • don’t look in the bushes. you will find something that you weren’t supposed to.
