What tarot can do for you:

Help you unlock the answers you already have. Be a useful tool to help put you on the path to achieving your goals.

What tarot can’t do for you:

Tell you the winning lottery numbers or the name of the next person you’ll fall in love with.

Think of tarot as a study guide, not an answer book.

How To Feel More Witchy: A Guide

Something I notice a lot with myself is that I don’t commonly feel witchy, especially if a mental illness is kicking my butt that day. So, I’m making a small list of things I personally do to feel more witchy.

Note: This is all things that I personally do, they may not work for you!

-Drink some tea. This may sound pretty normal, but I’ve learned that for me it makes me feel amazingly witchy. Make your own tea, buy tea that you enjoy, do whatever you wish! You can always use correspondences with the flavours.

Draw some sigils with lotion or just on your arm with your fingers. Sigils are something I always loved making and drawing, just for the simplicity. You don’t have to do much, and sometimes the best sigils are the least complicated. I draw a protection sigil on my arm everyday so I’ll be protected at school.

Light a candle. Now, you’re probably thinking, “Can’t you light candles without it being witchy?” Of course you can, but I included this because when I’m feeling low on energy, I’ll light a candle on my altar. Not only will it make me feel better, but it brings witchy vibes to the room.

Take care of a plant. If you’re like me and don’t have many real plants, go outside if its nice and you have the energy. I keep succulent babes in my room, and taking care of them makes me feel witchy, mainly because I discovered my love for plants through witchcraft.

Emoji spells. It sounds stupid to some, why make emoji spells when you’re low on energy? But I personally love making and casting them, they’re fun to make and like sigils they’re easily hidden.

Go on a witch tag on Tumblr. This is something I enjoy doing when I don’t feel witchy because a witch tag usually carries such positive energy and witchy vibes. You can scroll for hours and just feel witchy the whole time.

Grounding. This may be a ‘dur duh durrrr’ one, but when you’re low on energy it feels great to ground yourself. Soak in the energy of the earth or whatever element you choose to ground with (I personally ground with fire or try cosmin grounding).

Write in a Grimoire. It doesn’t take up too much energy, and it will always give off that witchy vibe. Write about a plant, maybe write down if you tried a spell recently or something similar. If you have nothing witchy related, thats fine too! Write something about your day, bond with your grimiore.

Look up the horoscope for today. I always personally enjoy looking up more into my zodiac as well. Do you know what your rising sign is? Maybe your Jupiter sign? It’s always fun to check! You can find out here if you want!

Listen to Youtube videos about witchy things. It could be a video about tarot, maybe a video on deities, or something on horoscopes! Listen to them, find ways to relate.

Bond with your tarot cards. If you don’t have tarot cards, use playing cards or even Pokèmon cards! Bonding with them can improve your experience with them, and it gives off a nice vibe.

If you have anything else to add or any ideas for a post, let me know! Thank you so much for reading!

Alright folks, I’m sure you’ve all heard about May 15th and its fun astrology shenanigans, specifically about how we should go back to that channeling of imagination some of us did as kids, and use that ferocious spirit to bring things into reality. Well, I’ve come up with a good list of things to focus on with such single minded intensity that they come true, and the more people that believe with all their might, the more power is behind it. This might be pretty American-centered because that’s where I live, but plenty of these are good no matter where you are.

Safer Environment:

  • We begin using environmentally friendly forms of energy.
  • We put more effort into saving endangered species.
  • We find a good way to clean/repair the ocean and begin to do so.

 Politics:

  • [x politician] is removed from [x office]. I’m personally for getting Trump the hell out of the white house. Of course, “All corrupt politicians are kicked out of their jobs” might also work. America would lose half its Congress, though.
  • Large corporations have less, or better yet, no control over the government.
  • The government actually listens to its citizens. For example: Net Neutrality is saved because Congress listens to its constituents and we get that 51st vote.
  • Countries that need help are helped.

If y’all can, donating to some of these causes is good, too. Pair this up with calling Senators, (or members of Parliament? whatever your legal body is) and with getting out there and being loud and not taking no for an answer. Magic works, yes, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t need a tangible boost. And if you can’t get out there, that’s okay, too. Just contacting reps is great, and encouraging others to do the same is awesome!

So is this impossible? Maybe. But we’re witches. Impossible is sort of in the job description. And nothing out there is stronger than hope. So here’s to hoping!

Feel free to add more suggestions!
