THIS IS SO GOOD
The Alien Stone
Rainbow lattice sunstone is an extremely rare form of sunstone found in Australia. The cheapest one I have found has been over 100 dollars. It is a rare occurrence when Sunstone occurs in a Moonstone, let alone with the added presence of the other phenomena seen in this extraordinary gemstone – perfect parallel lines and equilateral triangles which are incredibly rare in nature. An alchemical stone bringing a profound connection to light and the regenerative power of the sun during meditation and in everyday life. These Phenomenal gems exhibit moving lines, star energy, and is considered to bring good luck. Sunstone carries the energy of Ra, the sun god, whose energy brings all potential life from Earth. It is a Stone of Leadership – of personal power, freedom, and expanded consciousness. This sacred stone creates enlightenment and warmth, strength, mental clarity, and the willingness and ability to help others.
Rainbow lattice sunstone is so rare and the formation is so unusual, it is believed that it is actually not from this planet at all. Some even believe that it contains alien DNA. Star seeds or people who are interested in aliens seek to acquire this odd and unusual gem to acquire information from the alien race.
Crystals can be brought In all shapes and sizes and whilst we may just buy them for the way they look or purely for the intention of that crystals and I personally never used to realize that the shape of a crystal did actually influence the way it worked.so i decided to quickly put something together to show the influence of the shapes.
Single point crystals: these focus energy In one direction and can only either transmit or Draw energy one at a time. You can only transmit energy or draw once at a time.
Double pointed crystals: These crystals can Both draw and transmit energy at the same time and so are useful for balancing opposing forces.
Crystal clusters: radiate energy of the crystal to the surrounding area.
Geodes: amplifies energy and slowly releases it into their surroundings.
So these are some of the shapes and how they influence the way the crystals work. These are from some books I have and my grimoire.

It depends on the meditation.
If I want to contact higher realms or angels, I meditate with:
- Celestite – it allows me to communicate with angels and receive messages. It’s also a lovely crystal for reducing fear and anxiety. For me, Celestite sounds like gentle shimmers in a moonlit pond.
- Angelite – it also allows me to communicate with higher beings but works better for specifically angels, as well as reducing fear and bringing serenity. It sounds like very faint, soft voices singing with echoes that tickle your ears gently.
If I want to feel love and warmth, I meditate with:
- Rose Quartz – brings compassion, peace, tenderness, and healing. This crystal vibrates softly, yet is very strong.
- Blue Lace Agate – balances energy, security, communication, and confidence. If you meditate with this crystal, it feels like pleasant circular energy.
For grounding, I use the combination of:
- Hematite, Black Quartz, and Jasper – these are powerful grounding crystals which will help you feel stable, secure, at home in your body, and will take away the symptoms of spaced out.
For protection, I use the combination of:
- Black Tourmaline, Black Onyx, and Ocean Jasper – cleanses negative energy, protects against the influence of evil spirits, and can also aid against nightmares.

Diamonds Aren’t Rare
- actually true, they aren’t
- BUT
- gem-quality diamonds are rare. There are three main factors that contribute to rarity
- SIZE – big diamonds are way more rare than little tiny ones
- COLOR – colorless diamonds are more rare than brown diamonds, and fancy-colored diamonds are more rare than colorless diamonds
- CLARITY – diamonds that aren’t full of crap are more rare than diamonds with lots of crap
- I could go on for a long time about this so send me an ask if you want a full post
Fake Citrine/Burnt Amethyst
- no
- yellow/orange quartz = citrine, whether it’s natural or treated
- it isn’t fake
- citrine is often heated amethyst whether it comes from nature or a lab anyway
- there are some citrines that were never amethyst, but many were
Copal Is Fake Amber
- copal is young amber
- amber is OLD, guys
- 1,000,000+ years old
- they will both float in saturated saltwater.
- amber is more resistant to chemicals because it’s gone through polymerization over time
- don’t drop your amber/copal in solvents because chances are it’s copal
Don’t Clean Crystals With Soap
- soap is good
- most common crystals can be cleaned with soap
- use gentle soap though, none of that orange gritty stuff that everyone’s dad had at one point
- rinse off the soap when you’re done
- check if your crystal is water soluble before cleaning though
- and be careful with unusual and delicate specimens
Heating And Irradiation Are Bad
- heating and irradiation enhance the color of your crystals
- almost every sapphire and ruby in the lower to mid-range market has been heated
- most other stones too
- it doesn’t hurt the stone. I promise
- it just makes them prettier
- the earth does it to her crystals too
Treated Stones Are Fake
- nope
- treated stones are usually still whatever they were before they were treated
- unless it’s a variety call based on color or something but y’know
- heated topaz = topaz
- aura quartzes are extra pretty because of their treatment
- it’s cool if you don’t want to use treated stones but many people like them
- treated stones are beautiful and not fake
- but make sure the treatment is DISCLOSED unless it’s routine (and therefore assumed)
Blood Diamonds
- it was a problem
- but not anymore!!!!
- there’s a fun international thing called the Kimberley Process (2003)
- diamonds can’t be exported from their origin country without a clear paper trail back to the mine
- diamonds are probably the most ethical gemstone purchase you can make today actually
- there’s no equivalent process for colored stones
- blood emeralds, anyone??
Garnet Is Corundum
- Corundum has THREE MAIN VARIETIES
- just THREE
- ruby (red), padparadscha (orange-pink), and sapphire (every other color)
- these have subvarieties (star ruby, yellow sapphire, etc etc etc)
- emerald and garnet are not corundum
- (garnet is a mineral group!!!! it’s not even a species, much less a variety)
- not everything is corundum
I’ll add on to this in the future! Let me know if you have questions, I’m happy to expand on anything in this post or any other crystal info that you aren’t sure about 🙂
