Anyway so I’m calling Rep. Farenthold later to accept on Sen. Collin’s behalf and I’m choosing Fists. Can take place in Iowa because if two parties agree to mutual combat, under state law it is totally legal here.
And if he accepts yes I will stream that shit live don’t be silly.
And after I beat his ass once for Collins, I will duel him again on Murkowski’s behalf.
Square up, bitch.
OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH GOD CSPAN BOUT TO BE LIT

SO I CALLED HIS DC OFFICE AND SAID BASICALLY THE SAME THING I SENT VIA EMAIL.
After about 20 seconds of dead silence, the staffer let out kinda a little laugh and said “Well ma’m, I’ll be happy to pass on your…”
“I’m not joking.”
“Ma’m?”
“You think I’m joking. I am dead serious. You want my address? Or I’ll meet him at the airport. I am absolutely serious about this. Oh, and as the challenged party, I get to pick weapons. I choose fists.”
Another 20 seconds of somehow even deeper silence.
“I…I’ll pass your challenge on to the congressman.”
“No. He issued the challenge. I’m accepting. Unless he’s backing out like the spineless coward he is.”
More silence. “I…I’ll let Congressman Farenthold know, ma’m.”
“You do that.”
ANYWAY SO HOW DID YOU ALL SPEND YOUR LUNCH BREAK TODAY.
I LOVE THIS DO IT B

FOLLOW UP; He has proved himself a faithless coward and refused to meet me in honest physical combat, so I cursed him. Specifically, called on his past misdeeds to be visited upon him and justice he’s evaded to find him.
ive had weirder dreams. I think the best weirdest one was a reoccurring nightmare I used to have as kid. do yall wanna hear it
ok *cracks knuckles* here goes.
DREAM 1
when we first moved to my childhood home, the house was already kinda old. (it used to belong to my dad’s boss) the house already had a couple of furniture including some beds, dining set etc. Except for the bedroom, the rest aren’t really important so here’s a little sketch of a part of the house’s floor plan
we turned the smaller bedroom into a guest room and the bigger bedroom into a kids’ room so we moved the bed to storage and replaced it with a bunch of smaller beds.
Anyway, one of the first nights, I had a dream where I was standing in the bigger bedroom with a bunch of people in uniform. The big bed was back where it was but there’s a pool of blood in it. I overheard one of the cops mentioning something about a body not being found. Suddenly, I looked at the open door and saw the mirror in the guest room. In the reflection, there was a girl lying on the floor staring at me.
Since then, I was always afraid of the guest room.
I hated the house at first. I always thought it was haunted. There was also a giant tree in front of the house that was believed to be housed by spirits. (While playing there, I was told by some guy.. I think he was a gardener.. he saw my mom offer the tree some home cooked meal as a sort of peace offering but that’s a story for another time).
DREAM 2
For some reason, I was standing in the laundry room. I heard someone say “hey” and when I turned around, someone was hiding behind one of the clothes.
she continued to say “hey” as I started to approach her but then I woke up
The girl somehow started appearing in some of my dreams and every time she was playing a different role: a neighbor, a classmate, a friend, a stranger. She was older and had long black hair. She was always wearing white. At that time, I never even noticed how often she occurred in my dreams. I kinda just accepted it.
DREAM 3
The cops were back, walking around in my bedroom. The girl wasn’t there. I realized I was late for class so I ran outside. The street was littered with mutilated hands.
For some reason, I picked up one of the hands and tried to wash it with a gardening hose until it stopped bleeding. I don’t remember the rest of the dream.
DREAM 4
Remember I mentioned there was a large old tree in front of our house? It more or less looked like this:
I used to be scared of it especially at night because it looked like a giant hand in the darkness. Behind it was a wall and on the other side of the wall was a river. I always wondered what the river looked like but I never found until I was in high school and I was finally tall enough to see the other side (while standing on a chair).
Anyway, it was summer vacation and I had a dream where I was in my room. The girl was outside standing on the roof peeking through my window and was calling me to come outside. We went to the tree and I noticed the tree now looked like it was split in half. There was no wall but just a vast expanse of water as far as the eye can see.
I still remember it vividly. It was one of the best dreams I had.
DREAM 5
I had a dream where the river overflowed and flooded the whole neighborhood. I thought my parents were somewhere in the neighborhood basket ball court so I swam there but when I reached the area, there was nobody there. The creepy thing was that the whole time, I was being followed around by some guy I didn’t know.
DREAM 6
Near our house was an old factory. I used to hang out there with my other friends until our parents forbade us cause it was dangerous (obviously). One night, I dreamed I was walking by the factory and I heard someone call me from way above on the factory rooftop. She was sitting there by a really long ladder and urged me to climb on top.
When I reached the roof, suddenly there was just a land of rooftops that stretched towards the horizon. I followed her into a rooftop window which lead to the inside of the factory. Inside were just some machinery and a pier leading to the ocean in my last dream. There was a large chain (the ones you see on large ships) attached to the pier leading to something that looks like another factory in the horizon. She mentioned something about going there by walking on the chain but then I woke up.
Although she still reappeared in a lot of my dreams, I don’t really remember them as much as I vividly remember these ones. The last vivid dream I’ve had of her, we were classmates. She told me to be careful.
DREAM 7
this wasn’t really much of a dream but more like a dream where you’re awake?? I’m not sure what you call it. I was just under the sheets and I heard her whispering close to my ear that my mom is heading to my room and that I should get up soon.
Soon after, my mom opened the door and told me to get ready for school. I don’t remember how or at which point I woke up.
DREAM 8
I was walking home from school when I saw the man who was following me in another dream just standing there on the side. He was holding a knife.
I avoided his stare and quickly walked past him. I noticed he was starting to follow me so I ran. Before I knew it, he caught me and there was a knife in my back. I woke up.
That was the last vivid dream I ever had involving the man.
Okay, so years and years after. My dad finally retired. We wanted to move to a new place in a better neighborhood that was nearer to the city. It was a long process which involved lots of packing. I didn’t realized we had so much stuff and we had to leave some of our things behind. Strangely enough, our fridge suddenly stopped working. After that, two of our air conditioners. Our tv, then the couch suddenly split in half. We ended up leaving them all. My mom, like a passing thought, said maybe the house spirit was finally retiring too and I looked at her like she was crazy. Then my brother said “oh thank god. I thought I was the only one who thought there was a ghost in here” It turned out, we were all aware that the house might have been haunted but nobody wanted to point it out.
On the day of the move, we all said goodbye to the house as well as the “house spirit”. I called out to the ceiling that the house spirit could move in together with us if they wanted.
A few months later, my brother and our dad went to the house to check up on it. He said he overheard one of my dad’s friends mention that nobody wanted to come near it. It just gave off that weird feeling. Like someone was staring from out the window. The house is gonna be torn down soon.
The girl stopped appearing in my dreams since then.

old people really need to learn how to text accurately to the mood they’re trying to represent like my boss texted me wondering when my semester is over so she can start scheduling me more hours and i was like my finals are done the 15th! And she texts back “Yay for you….” how the fuck am i supposed to interpret that besides passive aggressive
Someone needs to do a linguistic study on people over 50 and how they use the ellipsis. It’s FASCINATING. I never know the mood they’re trying to convey.
I actually thought for a long time that texting just made my mother cranky. But then I watched my sister send her a funny text, and my mother was laughing her ass off. But her actual texted response?
“Ha… right.”
Like, she had actual goddamn tears in her eyes, and that was what she considered an appropriate reply to the joke.I just marvelled for a minute like ‘what the actual hell?’ and eventually asked my mom a few questions. I didn’t want to make her feel defensive or self-conscious or anything, it just kind of blew my mind, and I wanted to know what she was thinking.
Turns out that she’s using the ellipsis the same way I would use a dash, and also to create ‘more space between words’ because it ‘just looks better to her’. Also, that I tend to perceive an ellipsis as an innate ‘downswing’, sort of like the opposite of the upswing you get when you ask a question, but she doesn’t. And that she never uses exclamation marks, because all her teachers basically drilled it into her that exclamation marks were horrible things that made you sound stupid and/or aggressive.
So whereas I might sent a response that looked something like:
“Yay! That sounds great – where are we meeting?”
My mother, whilst meaning the exact same thing, would go:
‘Yay. That sounds great… where are we meeting?”
And when I look at both of those texts, mine reads like ‘happy/approval’ to my eye, whereas my mother’s looks flat. Positive phrasing delivered in a completely flat tone of voice is almost always sarcastic when spoken aloud, so written down, it looks sarcastic or passive-aggressive.
On the reverse, my mother thinks my texts look, in her words, ‘ditzy’ and ‘loud’. She actually expressed confusion, because she knows I write and she thinks that I write well when I’m constructing prose, and she, apparently, could never understand why I ‘wrote like an airhead who never learned proper English’ in all my texts. It led to an interesting discussion on conversational text. Texting and text-based chatting are, relatively, still pretty new, and my mother’s generation by and large didn’t grow up writing things down in real-time conversations. The closest equivalent would be passing notes in class, and that almost never went on for as long as a text conversation might. But letters had been largely supplanted by telephones at that point, so ‘conversational writing’ was not a thing she had to master.
So whereas people around my age or younger tend to text like we’re scripting our own dialogue and need to convey the right intonations, my mom writes her texts like she’s expecting her Eighth grade English teacher to come and mark them in red pen. She has learned that proper punctuation and mistakes are more acceptable, but when she considers putting effort into how she’s writing, it’s always the lines of making it more formal or technically correct, and not along the lines of ‘how would this sound if you said it out loud?’
Reblogging for reference because I’m working on this exact question for the book right now.
Temples are built for gods. Knowing this a farmer builds a small temple to see what kind of god turns up.
Farmer Brown talks as he works. This has always been known. When he is feeding the chickens, he wishes them good morning. When he is plowing the field, he thanks the soil for its service in providing his family food. So when he comes to the decision to build a temple, he speaks.
“I heard about them temples out West. The ones where people sometimes see gods, and they help humans. Well, I figure my family could use a little help. Not sure what god might make a home here-“ He sits back, wiping sweat from his brow. “-but it’d sure be nice if you were kind. My sweet little Jamie needs kindness. After Marsha passed… she’s been so lonely.”
Farmer Brown stands up, a small but bright temple before him. “Oh! Before I forget.” He places a bowl of oatmeal in the spot he cleared for offerings. “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.”
He doesn’t look back once as he walks home.
The next morning, Farmer Brown wakes up to the sound of barking.
“Look Papa!” Jamie cries, crutches tossed to the side and a joyful smile on her face. “A puppy!”
Sure enough, a dog is happily squirming in Jamie’s lap. Farmer Brown immediately picks up the dog, putting it down a few feet away.
“Careful, Jamie! You don’t know where that thing came from. It could have fleas. Or worse!”
Jamie frowns and points out the nearest window. “She came from over there.”
Farmer Brown looks in the direction Jamie pointed. He can see the edge of the forest and can just barely make out the small temple he’d built only the day before. He looks down at the puppy, considering.
Jamie continues to chatter, unaware, or perhaps too excited to care, of her father deeply thinking. “And look, Papa. Her fur is soft and clean. She looks like she came straight out of a pet store! …can we keep her?”
Farmer Brown sighs, rubbing his forehead. “I suppose. But you gotta wash her first. Just in case. Think you can handle that?” He doesn’t even look at her crutches, only waits for her response.
Jamie’s eyes light up. “Of course! Of course! Thank you so much!” She squeals.
As soon as she stands up, the puppy perks her ears and follows Jamie, tail wagging the whole time.
Farmer Brown watches in wonder as they disappear into the bathroom: he can’t remember the last time he saw Jamie that happy. Soon, however, his brain is reminded of a thought he’d entertained several minutes earlier.
He takes his time walking to the temple; there’s no rush. When gets there, the bowl from yesterday is in the exact same place, but it’s been scraped clean of oatmeal. He picks up the bowl and leaves a pink carnation, one of Marsha’s favorite flowers, he remembers absently.
He ignores the skeptical voice in his mind and bows slightly. “Thank you.”
Then he turns around, and Farmer Brown walks home.
From behind a tree, a woman watches. She does not look godly, but she is definitely not human, not anymore. When Farmer Brown is far enough out of sight, she picks up the carnation from the temple, smiling the kind of smile one only exhibits when receiving a gift they will deeply cherish. She looks back up, staring at the house where Farmer Brown and Jamie live, now with the inclusion of an excited puppy, and the reintroduction of a beautiful smile. Her eyes are full of love.
1. Meditate every day for at least 10 – 15 minutes. Raising your vibration is super important when you want to develop your psychic abilities. This is because Spirit energy vibrates at a higher frequency.
Meditation will allow you to be in a relaxed state and raise your energetic vibration. You’ll begin to feel more connected to your Higher Self, Spirit, and the energy of others. For variety and some fun, try a guided meditation!
2. Get to know your Spirit Guides. During meditation, ask your Guides to show themselves to you. Ask them their names. Don’t filter anything, just go with it and trust.
3. Practice psychometry. Psychometry is reading the energy of an object. It’s SUPER fun and can be a great way to start practicing your abilities. All you need to do is hold an object (preferably a metal object and something that has lots of energy on it, like a wedding ring), then, close your eyes and see if you can intuitively sense, see, or hear anything about the owner of the object.
4. Develop clairvoyance with flower visualization.Visualization exercises will help develop your psychic abilities, specifically, clairvoyance. Grab some flowers from your yard or a cheap bouquet from the market. (It’s nice to have different types of flowers for this exercise.) Place the flowers in front of you and study them for a little while. Now, close your eyes and imagine one of the flowers. When you can see see the flower clearly in your mind, move onto the next, and so on.
5. Develop your clairvoyance with random visualization. This is fun, especially if you’ve mastered the flower visualization or just plain ole’ don’t like flowers.
6. Take a walk in nature. Meditation doesn’t have to be boring – or done sitting down. Do a mindfulness meditation by taking a walk in nature. Concentrate on as each step as you walk. Focus on the movement of your body and say the word “step” with each step you take. This will help your mind clear of clutter and help increase your vibration. Of course, taking a regular walk in nature without concentrating on your steps is also very meditative!
7. Read a few pages of a psychic development book every day.
8. Read posts by trusted psychic and medium bloggers to continue getting educated about intuition and the Spirit world.
9. Visit an antique store. Notice what you intuitively FEEL or sense by being in the store.
Does the energy feel wonderful? Heavy?
Now pick up an object. Do you sense anything? Hear a name? See a vision? Using your psychic abilities in this way helps increase them!
10. Make a symbol book. Psychic information comes to us in a variety of ways. It’s often symbolic and not meant to be taken literally.
Your Spirit Guides will help you interpret information as you develop your psychic abilities. Get yourself a nice journal and pen (I did this years ago and it’s an awesome keepsake!).
Sit quietly and invite your Spirit Guides and Angels in for help.
Ask them to give you symbols for things like events and occupations. For example, for “birthday”, you may be shown a birthday cake (if you’re clairvoyant) or hear the happy birthday song (if you’re clairaudient).
Write it down in your symbol book. Now, when you give a reading and are shown a birthday cake, you’ll know what it means!
11. If your using tarot, make your own tarot book. Get a tarot deck that you love, such as the The Rider Tarot Deck. Instead of looking at the meanings that come with the cards, use your intuition to make your own meanings. Spend time with one card each day meditating on the card. Write down all of your impressions of each card and what it means to you. This is a great way to develop your psychic abilities and learn tarot.
12. Practice seeing auras. ANYONE can learn to see an aura, so this is a great way to develop your psychic abilities. Have a friend stand in front of a plain colored wall. Step back about eight feet. Focus on your friend’s forehead (third eye area). Imagine you are looking through her, at the wall behind. You will start to notice the aura layer around the head.
13. Develop your clairaudience (psychic hearing). Each night, before you go to sleep, lay quietly in bed. Listen to the sounds around you. Do you hear crickets? The wind rustling through the trees? Focusing on the sounds that you normally ignore will sharpen this intuitive gift.
14. Practice giving readings often. This is KEY to becoming a psychic or medium. You can read all you want about golf, but until you get out there on the course and practice, you won’t become a great golfer. It’s the same with developing your psychic abilities.
15. Tune-in to your pet. When your pet is calm, sit with him and try intuitively picking up on how he feels. This will help develop your clairsentience.
16. Practice reading old family photos. I used to do this with my grandmother’s old black and white photos of family members that I had never met. Look at the people in the photos. Write down everything that you sense about them. This is one of the most fun ways to develop your psychic abilities.
17. Journal often. Journaling helps get you in touch with your Higher Self (soul) and spiritual helpers. Try this: Think of a situation you need guidance on. Journal about it. While you do, allow yourself to relax and let yourself be Divinely guided.
18. Pray. This will help you continue to feel loved, supported, and connected to the Divine.
19. Ask a friend to call you – telepathically. In your mind, hold the image on your friend. Imagine energetically asking her to contact you within 24 hours.
20. Join a spiritual development circle or take a class. This will give you a safe, loving environment in which to develop your psychic abilities and mediumship.
21. Get to know other psychics and mediums. Being a psychic or medium can be pretty interesting! It’s nice to have the support of others and, if you’re gifts are just developing, you can practice on each other.
22. Learn to turn your gifts “on”. As soon as you start to develop your psychic abilities, you’ll want to learn how to control them. This way you’re not “on” all the time, picking up everybody’s stuff.
Prior to any intuitive practice or giving a practice reading, imagine lighting a candle in your mind. Invite your Spirit Guides and Angels in.
The candle visualization lets your spiritual helpers know that you are open to psychic and Spirit communication. This will help you learn to turn on your gifts when you want to use them.
23. Learn to turn your gifts “off”. When you are done practicing, imagine blowing out the candle. Thank your spiritual helpers for their Divine support. This will help you control your gifts when you’re not working with Spirit or giving a reading.
24. Focus on your third eye. Clairvoyance is one of the main psychic abilities. To develop clairvoyance, take a few moments and focus on your third eye area (just above and between your eyebrows). Imagine it opening up. You may even feel your third eye begin to tingle.
25. Keep your vibration high. Having a high vibration is important when you develop your psychic abilities. Why? Because:
Spirit vibrates at a very high frequency.
Living a joyful, authentic life, will help you feel more connected to the Divine and your Higher Self.
Like attracts like which means that you will attract other beautiful, spiritually aware souls into your life!
26. Eat high-vibrational foods. Adding high vibration foods to your diet, such as fresh fruits and veggies will help your body feel good. And the better you feel physically, the better you will feel psychically and it will be easier to develop your psychic abilities.
27. Keep a dream journal. When your first start to develop your psychic abilities, you might start having really vivid dreams. This is because our logical minds aren’t resisting Spirit energy while we are sleeping. (Our logical minds often make us second guess ourselves when we are awake.) Keeping a dream journal can be helpful – and a nice keepsake of your intuitive journey!
Hope all this tips will help you opening your third eye 🙈
