🍁 aperiora

from latin, ora meaning threshold, and aperio, to open/unveil

🍁 spectarme

Here’s a lovely trashy idea: put a sigil on your trash can for cursing that is charged by the trash that’s in it. If you’re a secret witch, it can be written in a sharpie the same color as the can, invisible ink, or hell even lemon juice.

The main point, however, is that it can be used permanently because we are dirty humans who always have trash. Perfect for people who are straight up irredeemable and are trash themselves (*cough* 45) or even bigger organizations/people that will require a lot of built up energy to fight (*cough* Nazis). Just (rotten) food for thought.

Blackthorn Reversing Spell

thiscrookedcrown:

To reverse a curse or hex onto the sender.

  1. Collect five thorns from a blackthorn tree
  2. Create a wax image; it can be a generic image. It doesn’t have to represent any specific person. It’s not necessary for you to know who wished you harm; if someone did, this spell will find them.
  3. Stick one thorn through each hand saying, “The evil that you have crafted returns to you.”
  4. Stick one thorn through each foot saying, “The evil that you visit upon me returns back to you.”
  5. Stick the last thorn into the image’s head saying, “the evil that you think and conceive returns to you.”
  6. Burn or bury the image.

So I made a sort of angry poem about the shit that went down in Charlottesville, and it’s kind of cringey but I’m kind of proud of it? I figure, what the hell, so I’m posting it. And anyway, I think it could very nicely be incorporated into a curse, it was in fact inspired by a sigil, but I don’t think they fit together.

“Your favorite game is killing us.

Your favorite toy is fire,

But now the hand that fed you

Is the one that feeds my ire.

The torches that you wielded

Had your wrath in show of flames.

Now I control the power,

And I control the pain.

Trapped in all your hatred,

You may never learn,

But men who play with matches

Are the men who always burn.

So burn in all your evil.

Burn with all your kin.

And may the saluting hand

Never light a torch again.”

Does this spell work with other kinds of desserts?

You are more than welcome to adapt the spell to the dessert you need/want/favor/etc. I did for this one, originally it was for pie. 🙂

Other people are definitely putting it to use on other desserts. So please feel free to adapt as you need!

Can confirm spell works. Eating blueberry cheesecake right now after doing spell yesterday. :0

Wishing

Manifestation

Talisman to dream of the dead:

necromancyandme:

For those whom lack the ability to contact the dead in the waking world, I present to you this talisman.

What you will need:
+ A sewing needle
+ Black thread
+ Scissors
+ Grave dirt, refined (preferably from the grave of your target, however any will suffice)
+ Lavender
+ Mortar and pestle
+ Bone dust
+ Sandalwood oil
+ Purple fabric
+ Chalk
+ Two black taper candles
+ A taglock of the spirit you wish to speak with (picture, personal belonging, sigil)

1. Grind the bone dust, Lavender and grave dirt together in the mortar until it creates a fine dust.
The mix should be as follows:
2 Parts Bone dust
2 Parts Grave dirt
2 Parts Lavender.
Place the mix into the bowl and store in a dark and dry place.
2. Cut a rectangle of the purple fabric and fold it in half by it’s length. Sew up two sides and leave one open, creating a pouch.
3. Anoint the candles with sandalwood oil, starting from the tip and twisting down towards you.
4. Place your bowl of dust on your altar and draw a circle with chalk around it. On the east and west sides of the circle, place your two candles.
5. When the moon is high, light the two candles and announce:

“Yihmoht amok ohtsteh-reps irysp-sneeht dnahmok hno-beh-dnah htrah-ch Ih-byihmoht”

6. Leave it over-night for the candles to burn out. Take the stumps of wax and grind them up in the mortar, add them to the dust and stir well.
7. Place the taglock into the bag and fill the bag with the dust. Sew it up well.
8. Before bed, take the bag and whisper gently:

“Rise up Spirit N. and come to me”

Place it under your pillow and sleep.
If you do not succeed, repeat this step until you get results.

Very simple wake up spell

silkensorcerer:

This is an extremely easy spell that works about 19/20 times (for me) even without an alarm clock.
It’s also good for absolute beginner witches!

Things you need: -your mind

1. Right before going to sleep, when you already lie in bed, think of the time you want to wake up.

2.
Now, in you mind’s eye, visually form the time so that you “look” at it as if you’d be looking at a digital watch.

3.
Hold that picture and focus on it while doing the next step.

4.
Say (I prefer doing it in my mind because otherwise it just doesn’t work well for me, but if it’s more effective/easier for you to say it out loud, do that!) that you’ll wake up to that time, preferably with confidence.
You can do it however you think is good, but here’s how I say it:

“I will wake up refreshed and with ease at 05:30am.”

5. Repeat as many times as you think is necessary. I personally do it until I know it’s enough.

Notes: -Do this right before starting to fall asleep.

HAVE CONFIDENCE IN WHAT YOU’RE DOING. You don’t have any helping materials like herbs or incense or so, so the stronger your will the more likely it is to work.                                                                                                                -Do NOT take the spell waking you up for granted! I’ve done it and I overslept my first period that day.

I’ve been doing this spell for years before I got into witchcraft and it almost never fails to wake me up!
