This is a masterpost of tarot & oracle card spreads. None of them are mine; this is solely a compilation of various spreads found on tumblr. I’ve broken them down into sections to sort through them with ease. This is not a full list, but do enjoy the spreads listed below. Note: Witchcraft is NOT a replacement for medical care. Seek the services in your area if you need help.
A spread based on how your being is doing, how to learn more self-love, and what your heart wants you to know! I would suggest using this spread when you really need your heart’s advice.
💛This is a season of immense growth, which forces us to really look within. We are evolving all the time, whether we realize it or not. I love this spread for journaling purposes. It really breaks down various aspects of your character and sheds some light on what we think about, how we are feeling, and what we need to do to move forward and improve. The best part- you can do this spread every few months to track your progress. 💛
This tarot layout requires a quiet space and a lot of energy! As you can see, it’s a little complex.
You can shuffle your deck and lay down the cards all at once, or you can focus on each section individually until it’s all out. Completely up to you and what feels right! (Sometimes I will dedicate one deck to love, another to personal growth, and a third to career!)
(The 1-3 on the bottom is for either oracle cards, or if you want to continue to use tarot cards for the overall energies)
✨Please only use this spread for personal readings, as it was not created for your monetary gain✨

If you’re like me, you want to learn everything and have all skills and try to pursue all things at once. I made this spread to help focus in on just one skill or trait to develop at a time. The idea is that when you have a baby plant, it requires more care and attention to survive and grows very quickly when it is well cared for. Once it’s fairly strong, then it’s time to let it grow at its own steady pace along with all the other things you’re working on and move on to the next until your garden of skills is happily and peacefully growing.
1. What skill/trait should you focus on? This is your seedling.
2. How should you approach this? Do I plant from seed? Do I take a cutting and propagate? Is there a class I can take? Should I make a schedule and work on this for ten minutes a day? Is it a more passive trait that I need to work on through metacognition all day?
3. What do you need to set yourself up for success? Plants need to be set up in the right conditions to thrive. They need to be placed where they get the right amount of sunlight and the right humidity. They need the right soil. What conditions do you need to set for yourself to thrive?
4. What is the outcome/what will this help you reach? I won’t call this the “end result” because your vine should keep growing and reach further and further. What does this skill/trait help you reach if you nurture it?

I decided to just go ahead and put the spread out as it is now. I like it and I think it works. But because this is literally my first draft of the spread, any feedback would be even more appreciated than usual!
Card One is where you were before the slump.
Card Two is what caused the slump or allowed it to happen.
Card Three is where you’re at now.
So, before we move on to the next cards, I want to explain this progression. I think it’s important, especially in these situations, to sort of check in on where you’re actually at and where you were before. Comparing the situations and seeing how you got to where you’re at is important, because it helps you understand what happened, and that’s how you make a plan to get out.
Card Four is what keeps you down – this is why you haven’t moved on and why you feel like you’re in the slump to begin with. Think of it as your obstacle – this is what you’re up against.
Card Five is your first step out of the slump. Something I really focus on a lot in these situations is “Well what do I do NEXT? What do I do now??” This is your answer to that question.
Card Six is what I call the signs on the path. It’s what keeps you moving forward and what stops you from sliding back down into the slump.
Card Seven is where you’re headed. One of the keys to pulling yourself out of the slump and continuing onward is knowing what you’re actually working toward. It’s easy to lose your sense of direction down there – this is your North Star.
So…this is my Timeline Spread. Well..sort of. I usually just refer to it as “The Timeline”. And also, you’ll have to keep reading to see exactly how it works. It’s a lot of cards (for me, at least) and it’s best used with a lot of reflection. I do this spread with pen and paper and take plenty of notes and make plenty of plans. Google reminders are scheduled during this. If something comes up that I’m not happy with, then I’m going to want to change or avoid it at best, and if that can’t happen, then at worst I want to know how I can get out of it as unscathed as possible.
Each point on the timeline gets three cards, like so:
Card One is “Where I am at this point.”
Card Two is “Who I am at this point.”
Card Three is “What will help me most at this time.”
When writing out the cards this spread gives me, I denote them as “A1”, “B3”, “E2”, et cetera.
Each group of three cards is analyzed together and in isolation from the others, first, and I look for links between the time periods to help see where I can facilitate good events and head off the bad ones. (Good and bad being relative, of course!) I don’t force a link if there isn’t one – my main narratives are on the individual points on the timeline and the three cards that make up those results, but watching the progression of your needs and who you are can be very interesting and telling for sure.
This is honestly a LOT of information and personally, I don’t recommend trying to read for unlisted places on the timeline, however if you’re really curious about a sudden, dramatic shift between one point and the next, placing a single card to see what leads from point A to point B (or D to E or what have you) can be helpful.
(I also don’t do this spread too often either. I don’t do it on schedule, although that’s not a bad idea. I do it whenever I think it’s necessary, which is rarely more than twice a year.)
WOW. I’m done! On time! Albeit, nearly at the last minute, but still! I haven’t posted all the other days to my tumblr yet (you can find them on my instagram), but here’s the last day’s challenge prompt, which I turned into a spread. Of course I had to do a spread, right?
“You can basically fill in the blanks for position meanings, but 1: who you are in the future. 2: how your future self feels and 3: what caused you to feel that way. 4: something your future self may need to know. 5: a piece of advice from the past, or something you may have forgotten.”
I’m actually pretty fond of this one – but make sure you record the results somewhere so you can find your advice when the time comes!
If you’re single, you probably wonder every so often when your next relationship will happen and how it will go. Asking your deck about your potential next potential significant other can prevent bad surprise and/or heartbreak. With the help of astrology, you can even guess the time range !
First and foremost, you need to be open-minded in your reading and analysis. Don’t do it with *that* specific person in mind, it will rig the whole process, because you might never get back/with that person, and the reading assumes you can.
I believe Time is like a probability tree: depending on your choices, you will get on a different timeline. But it doesn’t mean the timelines can’t reconnect at some point. Your choices aren’t always significant in the big picture and you can’t always escape a situation. Your journey can unfold in a million different ways, but at the end, you’ll reach the same destination.
I highly advise you to record the whole process in a file, it could be helpful later.
Now, here is an example of the reading you can do:
Concerning the time, you can ask your deck if you’re good with time guessing, but my favorite way is to check the sky.
Go to your favorite astrological website, and check your transits + natal chart for today. Where are Venus, Mars and Pluto ? Are they aspecting some of your personal planets ? Is there planets in your 5th, 7th house and 8th house ? (spoilers: if Saturn is transiting your 8th house, it’s gonna be pretty dry for a while)
Now, estimate what next aspects/placements would be meaningful and move forward the chart clock to estimate the right time. These clues includes:
Venus Return (when the transit Venus conjunct your natal Venus)
Venus, Mars, Pluto transiting your 5th, 7th, 8th house
Transit Venus aspecting your natal Moon
Aspects between the natal Venus/Mars and your natal Venus/Mars
Sun transiting your Moon and Venus sign
(don’t mind much the transit moon, it aspects your whole chart every month)
You need to have several clues to truly estimate a period, ex: Venus Return + Transit Moon trine Natal Venus.
Now that you have found a time range, you’ll use the transit of the moon or the sun to get the right day. The trigger can be a new moon, a full moon or the sun/moon aspecting your major clue element.
Note: I avoided a major heartbreak that way. I foresighted it 6 months before. Since I was distant with the guy I met on purpose, on the day I guessed, he got with another girl and dumped her a month later when his ex came back to him. When I learnt it, I was like “OMG it could have been me, OMG I almost got in so much deep shit”.
* I don’t recommend doing foresights if you’re already in a relationship, it could fuck it up
