Aries: becomes less talkative, watching others and observing, irritated easily, might give up on things or seem lazy
Taurus: irregular eating habbits, more quiet and thinking, tired, if you see the, crying it’s really bad
Gemini: might come off as rude or ignorant, tends to isolate themselves from others, talks much less then usual
Cancer: sometimes they can become very angry, screams and pushes people away from them, emotional rollercoaster, either binge eating or lack of food
Leo: angry, looks like they don’t want to talk to you and they don’t, can come off as rude, not as talkative/loud as usual, doesn’t really laugh and can be very pesimistic
Virgo: lack of sleep, might avoid people and overally talk much less, looks and acts tired, can be rude, doesn’t care about other people’s feeling at that very moment
Libra: looks tired, will probably try to talk to you about their problems but then will say something like “ahh don’t worry about it :)”, not as happy and optimistic as they usually are
Scorpio: will take everything personally, might be sarcastic or rude, complains, might actually cry in front of you, won’t tell you if they need help or a hug, tries to act normal
Sagittarius: stops caring, almost doesn’t laugh, distant from people, doesn’t really talk, might as well just disappear for a few days and you won’t know where they’ve gone
Capricorn: you can see it in their face, doubts everything they do, wants to talk about it but doesn’t know how, very quiet
Aquarius: can be rude, becomes more introverted; stays at home if they can, doesn’t talk to people, irregular sleeping
Pisces: maybe the most distant out of all signs, might avoid talking to people, can cry often but you won’t know, doesn’t care about things they normally do care about
ARIES- don’t say anything. TAURUS- don’t laugh at them. GEMINI- don’t push them to do things. CANCER- don’t tell them they’re being immature. LEO- don’t tell them they’re wrong. VIRGO- don’t talk to them about how they’re acting up. LIBRA- don’t provoke them. SCORPIO- don’t tell them to calm down. SAGITTARIUS – don’t tell them “it’s stupid to be angry.” CAPRICORN- don’t tell them they can’t be mad. AQUARIUS- don’t ignore them. PISCES – never say it’s their fault.

This trick I learned is fantastic for writing sigils, runes, spells, etc. on your body. The great thing about this technique is that it is waterproof, stays on as long as you want, is easy to do, and can be scrubbed off easily if you so desire.
Materials
1. Hairspray
2. Waterproof liquid eyeliner
3. Something to clean up the tattoo with (napkins, tissues, etc.)
4. What ever sigil, symbol, rune, etc. you want
Procedure
Step One: Write the symbol you wish wherever you want
Step Two: Let it dry
Step Three: Spray a liberal amount of hairspray on the area
Step Four: Dab around the tattoo with your napkin to clean the edges
Step Five: Let it dry again
Step Six: Activate the symbols by meditating or energizing yourself with emphasis on the symbol of your choosing. (Example: Writing a peace sigil on your wrist, meditate with the intention of bringing yourself peace)
I personally have been loving this technique. It’s cheap (for a college witch like myself, this is a plus). It’s effective. It’s not culturally appropriation. It’s semi-permanent, so if you want to change your sigil or whatever, you can. I’ve been using this for bringing myself internal strength and growth, and it’s been working wonders for me.
Something that I’ve noticed that helps is to make your atmosphere as witchy as possible. Dim the lights, play some music that makes you feel witchy, whatever empowers you. Try to place the sigil somewhere you will see it often. Let the magic slowly wave over you through the day.
If you’re using currency for a spell, be sure to cleanse it first.
You don’t know what kind of energies it’s absorbed before getting in your hands.
My first spell was a money spell and I remember doing just this. Here’s some tips.
Don’t use salt. Like your normal pure salt. That is made to neutralize all energies: reset to factory settings. It makes both good and bad energy into neutral energy. You want money energy for this spell. Prosperity, growth, savings energy.
My suggestion would be to make up a batch of black salt (salt and ashes). That salt’s job is to remove negative energy.
You may ask, “But wait, Hawk. Energy isn’t good or bad. Morals are dependant on the situation and blah.” To this I say you’re correct. So you have to tell the salt what you want to remove. Program it into the salt with intent and all that good stuff.
I often ask the salt to take away feelings of anger, sadness, frustration, greed, lust, loss, etc.
Charge up that salt, shove your money in for 24 hrs… and POOF you have a wonderful ingredient for your next spell. 🙂
Bonus: I like to use things like dollar coins or 50 cent pieces because they’re different than normal money, and in my eyes, more valuable due to their collector value. If I’m dong a spell for money in my home I put in a money for each person. For example: Me and a significant other would each be represented by a 50 cent piece, making 2 coins. That makes 1 whole dollar, a whole unit, and a full need. It’s the little things.
A spell I wrote inspired from the film Practical Magic
This is a fire free spell used to draw in your ideal lover.
This is NOT a spell to make a specific individual fall in love with you.
This spell can also be altered to search for the ideal platonic partner. See the notes section at the end of this post!
Items needed:
– Pick any of the following flower petals and dry them*
if you have the time. But fresh petals are also okay. (you don’t need the whole flower just a a couple of petals) You don’t
need all of them, I’m just providing as many options as possible: White
Carnation (pure love), Dark Red Carnation (Deep Love), white
Chrysanthemum (truth and loyal love), Red Chrysanthemum (love), Red Rose
(deep love), Yellow rose (friendship/ caring), Orange/Coral rose
(passion/energy/desire), Lavender Rose (love at first sight), Tulip
(declaration of love/ perfect love) – Any other flower you can think of
that symbolizes love + companionship. You don’t need a lot. Maximum 2
petals for each flower of your choosing.
– Hot water (like just barely hot enough for tea. As long as there’s steam, you’re golden)
– water soluble paper (get rice/wafer paper OR look for the brand print-stitch-dissolve in a local craft store. I’ve found it in Michael’s and staples for around $10) IF you can’t fine the paper, just write on your flower petals, provided they are large enough.
– pen(s)/ pencil(s) in any color(s) of your choosing
– mug or bowl
– an open window/ outdoor space
What to do:
– Start boiling your water. Feel free to put it on low heat, this may take some time.

Take your pen and paper, list the qualities you seek in a love (be they
physical or personality related). If you do wish to use a visual
element you can print out images/ draw the qualities you seek. There is no need whatsoever to glue items together
– As you write each quality, rip it up from the page so it’s on it’s own strip, place it in your mug/bowl
– when you are finished writing, take your dried petals and crumble them/ tear them up, toss them into the mug/bowl as well
-take
the mug/bowl into your hands and speak/whisper this chant
“Lover hear me. Lover know my name. Lover come find me. Lover follow my heart’s flame.“

put the bowl down, by now your water should be hot. Slowly pour in the hot water, repeating the chant if you wish. Let the steam send your wishes out into the world. Feel free to chant until you no longer see steam/ until the water cools.
– When the bowl/contents have cooled, pour out the mug/bowl. Be sure to wash it when you are done if it’s one you consume from.
Additional Notes: If you’d like, keep a copy of your list should you choose to keep an eye out for your person. Or if you’d like to perform the spell again. Feel free to copy any imagery as well and hold onto it if you wish.
*
To press + dry flowers you can either iron the flowers between sheets
of parchment paper OR press them under some heavy books (this can take
several days. But since it’s petals you’ll probably need a week max.).
If you use the iron method, make sure the iron is on the lowest possible
setting and there is no water in it. Don’t iron across the paper like
you would clothes, just dab for 10-15 seconds in each spot. Let it cool .
Maybe go over with the iron 1 more time, you don’t want to scorch/ burn
the petals.
PLATONIC PARTNER ALTERATIONS: change the the word “lover“ to “partner“ in the chant. Look for flowers that have friendship/ familial/ unconditional love related meanings such as yellow rose, Jasmine, pear blossom, primrose, yellow chrysanthemum, forget-me-not, blue violets, ect. Obviously make more changes as you see fit ❤
